Punchcard: Goal tracking is a mobile application provided by Punchcard App. The app is free to download. Some features require a paid subscription. The Service is intended for use as is.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The information collected is used solely for improving the Service and understanding how the app is used. Information will not be used or shared except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
Punchcard does not require users to create an account. We do not collect your email address or other contact information.
Your punch cards (goals, rewards, templates and stamps) and your settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers. The Home Screen widget reads this data on your device to show your cards.
When analytics are enabled, the app may collect limited anonymous usage data through analytics tools to improve the app and understand how features are used. This data may include technical information such as device type, operating system version, screen views, app interactions, and general usage statistics. This information is not used to identify individual users and does not include the text of your goals or rewards.
Third-Party Services
The app uses third-party services that may process certain technical information necessary for operating the Service:
- PostHog – used for product analytics when enabled (screen views, touch events, and usage events to understand how users interact with the app). Analytics are disabled when not enabled. Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat – used to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect device information, purchase history, and subscription status. Privacy Policy
- Apple App Store (StoreKit) – used to process in-app purchases and subscriptions. Payments are handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment details. Privacy Policy
These third-party services collect only the data necessary for their functionality. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
Log Data
In case of an error in the app, data and information may be collected automatically through third-party services. This data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (IP) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when using the Service, the time and date of use, and other statistics.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The app itself does not use cookies directly. However, third-party analytics tools may use similar technologies to collect anonymous usage information in order to improve their services and the app experience.
Device Permissions
The app may request certain permissions from your device in order to provide specific features:
- Notifications – used to send daily reminders you can configure in Settings. This permission is optional.
All permissions are optional and can be controlled through your device settings.
Internet Connection
Punchcard primarily works offline and stores user data locally on the device. Some features, such as analytics or subscription management, may require an internet connection.
Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect information processed through the app. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
